The Stradivari 43, a nautical marvel, stands as a tribute from the shipyard to the city of Cremona and the esteemed Antonio Stradivari Violin Makers Consortium.
In an ambitious endeavor, Capelli tasked automotive and nautical designer Giuseppe Bagnardi to marry the worlds of inflatable boats and fine art.
The result is a captivating blend of craftsmanship, a departure from the critical eye of rigid inflatable boat enthusiasts, and a profound international message.
Style
The Stradivari 43 is a juxtaposition of two seemingly disparate products, scandalizing their respective realms. However, beneath the surface, the two realities of Cremona share common ground: artisanal mastery and a profound connection to the territory, both quintessential elements of the renowned "made in Italy" ethos.

Stylistically, the Stradivari 43 introduces elements that starkly contrast with traditional inflatable boats. The violin-inspired "f-holes" on the bow evoke the intricate carvings found on the harmonic plates of the iconic string instrument. Some design choices sacrifice practicality for grace, such as partially concealed tubes, challenging their conventional functionality. Yet, this design schema offers advantages— a wider deck surface compared to the distance between air chambers, and spacious, secure areas from the rear platforms to the bow.

The deck
Onboard, the Stradivari 43 transcends the typical inflatable boat experience. The unique bow sunbathing area, typically uncomfortable, becomes a plush haven with a soft headrest, chaise lounge styling, and integrated fabric handles and audio system. Passageways are easily traversed, and the T-Top, resembling a violin's neck, houses a sophisticated kitchen unit with innovative features like a covered refrigerator and original handles.

The cabin, reminiscent of a luxury yacht, draws inspiration from violin wood tones, featuring LED-lit strings above the bed. The bathroom, though luxuriously furnished, challenges practicality with wood, crystal, and glossy black surfaces. However, the elevated level of sophistication cannot be denied.
The exterior boasts a vast stern area suitable for water toys or a sunbathing retreat. A substantial hangar, despite potential technical installations, provides storage for bulky items. The beach area's planks extend to the limit, serving as trampolines or boarding platforms.
On the sea
In terms of navigation, the Stradivari 43 impresses with a pair of Yamaha XTO outboards, offering 425 horsepower each. Equipped with joystick control, the technological package enhances a seamless 13-meter vessel command, simplifying maneuvers.
The Raymarine displays mirror Yamaha instrument data, ensuring clear and easily discernible information, enhancing safety.

With a dry displacement of approximately 5.5 tons and a test weight of around 7.7 tons due to the onboard load, the Stradivari 43 planes at a mere 10 knots, highlighting excellent weight distribution. Consumption at 15 knots is 3.8 liters per mile, with a potential range of about 180 miles. At the typical cruising speed of 25 knots, the consumption increases to 5 liters per mile, resulting in a reduced range of 140 miles—modest for a vessel capable of extended voyages.

Despite the higher-than-average wake, the Yamaha XTO V8 engines exhibit their power during acceleration, reaching a maximum speed of 44 knots in calm waters. The trade-off for the high wake is a slightly lower efficiency compared to other vessels in its class, exacerbated by challenging sea conditions during testing.
In conclusion, the Stradivari 43 stands as a symbol of artistry, craftsmanship, and maritime elegance in the world of inflatable boats. Available in two versions—Ebony Intense and Mediterranean White—the model's opulence is reflected in its elevated price tag, a small price to pay for an exclusive vessel that transcends the boundaries between art and maritime engineering.
Conclusions
The Stradivari 43 is not just a boat; it's a maritime masterpiece where Italian artistry dances with innovative design. As it gracefully navigates the seas, it echoes the legacy of Cremona and Stradivari, redefining luxury. This vessel is a captivating symphony on water, harmonizing craftsmanship and innovation to create an unparalleled experience, transcending traditional boundaries in the world of inflatable boats.
